Ben-DutkaNaughty Dog showed off that awesome Uncharted 4: A Thief's End gameplay , and now we've got some new screenshots.
Here's one comparison between what protagonist Nathan Drake looked like in Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception and what he looks like in the new adventure. Check out more , if you're so inclined.
These come from a PlayStation Experience panel entitled, "Modeling Nathan Drake: Bringing an Iconic Character to PS4," where Naughty Dog artists gave attendees a behind-the-scenes peek at how they constructed the new hero. You can check out the entire hour-long video if you're into the nuts and bolts of development. Naughty Dog is going for a "filmic, cinematic" look for the upcoming PlayStation 4 exclusive, which isn't too surprising.
Drake has definitely aged over the years but that's what makes his fresh model look even more realistic. Can't wait to see the final product!

Yep. It's like going from semi-cartoony Drake to real Drake. Photorealism isn't so bad afterall.

It's like looking at the cg model and the photo of the real model it was based on…incredible.
anyone else getting a Nathan Fillion vibe now?
I popped Uncharted 2 in last night. Was pleasantly surprised at how well that game has aged. It still looks great.
The newer model looks great, but the PS3 model seems to fit the youthful and playful portrayal by Nolan North much better.

Doesnt quite look like Nathan to my eye. More like his brother or cousin.
I saw this before, but haven't figured out if they changed the color of his eyes? Not that I've lost any sleep over it…
Overall, I'd say the lighting has enhanced visual quality the most.
Yeah his human iteration is very different, looks more like Nathan Fillion now.

It might like a little like Fillion when he was younger. Definitely not now, though. Not as he looks in "Castle," at any rate.
Drake look uglier now, he look handsome in uncharted 1 and 2, but now he look like he doesn't give a shit about himself anymore, no homo…

i still think he looks fresh and more polished a character and think hes only gunna look better when the mid way character design and final character designs will be really good
