While it isn't official, it looks like a couple new milestones for the PlayStation 4.
According to VGChartz , Sony's new console has topped 15 million units worldwide, with 5 million sold here in the US.
Furthermore, the system has produced over 50 million game sales at retail; the total has hit 57,151,113 titles sold thus far. These are pretty impressive numbers considering the PS4 is just barely one year old, and we really haven't seen a lot of top-tier exclusives just yet. It'll be interesting to see how the console fares during the holiday season, and what 2015 has in store.
We'll also have to wait for the official stats from Sony; any other numbers must be taken with a grain of salt until we have confirmation.
That's great. Wonder how the XO vs PS4 battle went though.

Aaron Greenberg seems to think because he was at Target and saw a pallet of PS4's but no XO's it's reason to celebrate and point fingers and laugh. MS sucks at both losing and winning. And in this case, they won by slashing the price by huge amounts.
I was at Best Buy and a few other stores today and saw mountains of XO's as well. So did they really "sell out" ? I could've posted three pictures of XO's hanging out in stores =p

An empty pallet, versus a full one also doesn't mean a damn thing.
But of course, it is a great PR image to send out to the community.
Well a market research firm named Infoscout are claiming that Xbox one made over 53% of system sales… They said Xbox1 sold better thanks to the price drop… Than again they said the same thing last year when the systems launched and boy were they wrong about the PS4
They're official, don't worry.
On who's authority?
(been wanting to say that lately)
On MY authority!!
(I've been waiting too) 🙂

"Jim you can't let them take Genesis away from us!" "Whose taking Genesis?" KHAN!!!!!!!
They aren't official.
However, VGChartz usually modify their numbers after officials are announced. They then use that as a basis to project ahead using the market trends of the time.
Hardly official, but not a bad indication at the very least. They are usually off by up to 20%.
Slow news day ben. Why report something off vcharts. heck i dont know any1 that believes that site.
Because it's the only source for international sales figures.
All the more reason some more kids should start a competing website, called VGCharts (note the s) and make up sales numbers after making phone calls to retailers =p
VGchartz numbers is usually crap but it's fun to pretend!

Of course it's not accurate in short term, small scale numbers. But they capture trends. That's worth something.
