Ben-DutkaIf you've got the PlayStation 4 version of Destiny , you may have noticed that something is amiss.
It seems many PS4 players are having trouble signing in to Bungie's latest blockbuster. The developer has acknowledged the problem and said on Twitter :
" We are actively investigating issues impacting players' ability to sign in to Destiny on PlayStation 4. "
That was earlier this morning and we haven't heard any updates since. It's unfortunate because today is the day when the anticipated 2.00 firmware update arrives for PS4. This will offer a host of great new features, including Share Play and the ability to implement customized music. Maybe you can have fun fiddling with that while Bungie addresses the sign-in issues for Destiny .
Here's hoping it's a relatively easy fix.

I played Destiny with my son at 7:00-7:45 AM (Arizona time) this morning just fine.
Can anyone confirm if it is down at the present?
I haven't played in forever but I do kinda wanna get back into it, but RPGs are just so much fun!
I've always had uncommon sign-in issues with the game. ANd I do mean uncommon as it's happened about 2 or 3 times since I started. Basically, the game will think I'm not a PS Plus member, even though I am, so it won't let me access strikes etc. I notice also when this happens the game has real sluggish network access between nodes.
First I've ever heard since the hacking fiasco sometime ago. Hope everything's good to go for some good raiding tonight XD
