And it looks like the current Xbox One exclusive, Ryse: Son of Rome , could be one of those games.
According to what Crytek boss Cevat Yerli told WorldsFactory , there's still a chance that Ryse could end up on the PlayStation 4. Don't forget that because Crytek owns the IP, they have the power to bring it wherever they like. In regards to the PS4 possibility, Yerli said they're "always open to new opportunities" for their franchises, although they're currently focusing on bringing the game to PC.
Well, the game didn't exactly fare that well with critics, anyway, and the PS4 has plenty of exclusives on the way. Do we really need Ryse ?

Just for the sake of stealing an exclusive game, yes I want it.
But it isn't exclusive.
Yeah, this game is already not an exclusive. It's also not very good.
This is one of those sad stories where it wasn't popular enough to pay for itself so they are hoping to make some money with a little extra work. Then they hope it will find a cult following that could one day result in a sequel so people would finally see that they were right and Ryse was always a great idea.
But no.
The sad thing is I would love a historically accurate non-fantasized ancient Rome game. = Ryse probably knocked the chances of that ever happening down a number of pegs.
Everybody loves real Rome.
A historically accurate ancient Rome RPG would be amazing.
It wasn't that bad of a game. I'm glad I didn't pay full price for it but I did have fun (most of the time) playing it.
Crytek, just give us Crysis 1,2,3 Remaster on PS4:)
Ryse looks far too arcade for me, and it's ahistorical take on history rubbed me up the wrong way just watching the trailers – but just because it's not for me doesn't mean some Playstationers won't like it, so bring it over I say :).
It should have been on PS4 from the beginning. It was a dumb decision to keep it away.I think it could go platinum on the PS4 as games like this sell better on PlayStation.
i think we all saw this one comin atleast to the point that crytech was gunna port rise to other platforms
