Ben-DutkaOoooh…pretty. Now where's the blue PlayStation 4 to match?
As Sony just revealed on Facebook , they're bringing the new "Wave Blue" DualShock 4 controller to North America this fall.
The gamepad has been available in Europe and Japan but as always, the US is last to get the colored hardware and accessories (for some reason). The blue controller might go well with the Glacier White PS4, though, which will be sold as part of the upcoming Destiny bundle. The latter launches on September 9 alongside Bungie's hotly anticipated title, and the blue DualShock 4 will be ready to go on September 30. They'll also have an Urban Camouflage option, which Sony previously revealed.
Now all we need is Magma Red and we'll complete the color collection. Coming soon as well…?

I agree. Well, about this one being ugly, I don't fancy myself enjoying a light-ish red Lightning controller. Though, I am about to import the Magma Red DS4 from somewhere if they don't announce it soon. As in the next twenty minutes.
it doesn't look all that bad. It's always good to have at least two controllers just incase one breaks/stops working or if you're lazy like me, charge one while you play with the other.
I'll take 2 please. Favorite color is blue so this rocks to me.
Blue and black are my favorite colors, so I can pick one of these up and when I play ps4 with my friends, everyone will know this controller is mine.
I hope it includes an improved battery. The DS4 has the crappiest battery ever. Sony just couldn't have spent the extra $2 or less to place in a better battery in the first place. Instead we got a retarded controller speaker that sucks that I turn all the way down anyway.
It can't be worse than the Wii U gamepad's battery. Mine only lasts about three or four hours before needing a recharge.
that doesn't help me any.
the next time my DS4 needs charging I won't be thinking, "phew, at least this isn't any worse than battlestar-galacta-wii-u's game pad, like Cole has to put up with."

Nah… not feeling it. That glacier white PS4 is nice though. Unfortunately I don't want Destiny.

ummm this was all confirmed awhile back. amazon has had it for presale along with white and camo. release date is in sept, along with destiny ps4 bundle.

they need to do neon puke green so Xbox gamers can feel more at home when coming over to Playstation
Have one of these since launch. Love the colour and as previously mentioned in the comments it's nice to have your own personal controller especially when playing with friends with seriously overly sweat palms.
blue is my favorite color.. i'm pretty sure that i'll be getting this controller..
I have red and blue PS3 controllers so I want a matching set for my PS4. I'll get the blue and dump the black one when the red comes out.
Huh? Haven't these been available from Gamestop.com for a while and I could of sworn these were available at Target when I bought my PS4 on launch day?
