So, when will the new Mass Effect get its official unveiling? Well, at least we got a new teaser trailer on Monday, right?
On top of which, BioWare GM Aaryn Flynn was willing to talk a little about the latest installment in the acclaimed franchise.
Speaking with GameTrailers , Flynn promised an "all-new journey" that doesn't feature former protagonist Commander Shepard.
Well, that we knew already. And after Flynn complimented the team for "killing it with Frostbite," he answered a few questions concerning the setting and characters. Is the new title completely and entirely new, or will long-time fans see familiar things?
"We've got a pretty cool idea for how we're going to carry on, keep the trilogy story separate, but at the same time, give a bunch of nods to fans who've really enjoyed the trilogy in the past. That's all going to come out soon."
He didn't want to talk about returning characters, but he did confirm that some familiar races will return, adding- "it wouldn't be a Mass Effect game without the Krogans." Chances are, we'll learn more about the new game after Dragon Age: Inquisition is out the door; the latter anticipated RPG ships out on October 7, 2014.
Yeah!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm torn. Good thing I have years to decide.
Awesome! I'm really looking forward to this. At least they are moving on away from the main character. This is necessary.
