As revealed by DualShockers , Capcom has given us a pair of sweet new 1080p screenshots for Deep Down (one of which you can see here), and an update on the beta test.
The beta was supposed to have been available near the Japanese PlayStation 4 launch in February, but it has been delayed until the summer. In fact, let's not forget that we don't even have a Western confirmation for the PS4 exclusive; there's no guarantee the beta or the game will launch in North America or Europe. However, given Capcom's focus on catering to a worldwide audience, it's highly probable.
Deep Down runs on the developer's new Panta Rhei engine, and we can't wait to see what it looks like. Not that interested in the free-to-play model, though.

I think this will be a Great PS4 Exclusive.
My thoughts exactly… has there ever been a Free2Play title that has been worthwhile?… I'm genuinely asking.
Dota 2 is the only real free 2 play game in existence save for some freeware games or games that go free after a company goes bankrupt.
But in general they are not made better by being free 2 play. You always have to ask yourself is this model making the experience the best for the player or for the publisher/developer. Most cases with free 2 play, its all about getting you hooked and wanting to spend little bits here and there until you spend over 100 dollars before you realize it.
It is a very lucrative business model because the "game" is free people can try it and it increases the chances of people dropping a dollar here and there. If 5 million people try the game and everyone drops a dollar well you just made a lot of money, add to the fact that most gamers will drop more if they like it or get hooked and you have a model that can make a bloody lot of money.
I don't like the model being called free to play, it should be called an unlimited trial and there should always be a buyout option to get all the current and future content for a 60 dollar price point.
In this case yes, I am trying to remember how many weapons they said were available without paying and I believe it was only 4 or 6. =S

There is a game that might come to PS4 (it might be F2P) called Black Desert Online. The game is a sandbox mmorpg the game looks soooo amazing. I want it now…
It has been mentioned once that Black Desert might come to consoles however I HIGHLY doubt it will. But yes that game looks freaking amazing I have been following it since it was announced. Sadly we probably won't see it even for PC until around 2016.

amazes me how up in arms everyone was with M$ online sharing strategy, but now when everyone else has online only games its meh.
