Minecraft Coming To PS4 And Vita Before September Is Over?

Might as well bring it to more platforms, right?

The phenomenon that is Minecraft has landed on multiple platforms, but it hasn't yet arrived for the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. So, when can we expect those versions?

Well, developer Mojang doesn't have exact release dates for either version, but according to CVG , they do expect both versions to be available in the second or third quarter of this year. The PS3 version is still slated to launch on May 16 if you're up for that. They also confirmed that the Vita version will be "closer to the console versions" as opposed to the more restricted Pocket Edition available on mobile platforms.

If you haven't experienced the block-building mania that is Minecraft yet, maybe you'll want to play it on either the PS4 or Vita. Just be patient.

Even after all this time, I am still on the fence about Minecraft. Is it really worth it? (On the PS3, mind you.)

I've only played it on PC and my two cents are: No, the game can run decently pretty much on any desktop. This is purely on a controller standpoint. I don't see how a person could play it on a controller when a mouse and keyboard are much better. It's not about the graphics because, please. But in the end it boils down to preference.
