See Ezio’s Final Journey In Stunning 3D

Got that 3D HDTV yet? Ready to put it to good use this fall?

Ubisoft has confirmed that Assassin's Creed: Revelations will be playable in 3D for the PlayStation 3, Xbox 360 and PC. This is a first for the critically acclaimed franchise.

PS3 and 360 users will take advantage of TriOviz Inficolor 3D support, and the game will also be compatible with all 3D TVs using top/bottom, side-by-side and frame packing via HDMI 1.4. As for the PC, the 3D will be managed with NVIDIA 3D Vision. If you've been out of the loop, Revelations follows the final journey of master assassin Ezio Auditore, who will walk in the footsteps of his ancient ancestor, Altair. Taking place in Constantinople, the Templars threaten the entire region.

Assassin's Creed: Revelations drops on November 15. Don't know about you, but this is easily one of PSXE's most anticipated games of 2011.

Who is this John Shepard that you talk of?

This game seems to have slipped off of my radar. Dead Island, Dark Souls and Uncharted 3 will be my bedfellows until the new year.

Assassins Creed will keep as Ubisoft games are always 50% off after a couple of months.

Look forward to seeing Constantinople in all it's glory! I know a nice kebab shop just off the hippodrome…

i've always wounded about this John Shepard to.

really can't wait for this game i was starting to get burned out on assassins after playing ac2 three times then acb but its been almost a year now without even touching a ac game so i'm itching to get back and continue the epic journey though ezio's life.

The 3D gimmick for gaming is pretty dead I'd say. It makes an impact on you for a couple minutes, then it's just forgotten.

As if the market even knows what the hell HDMI 1.4 is. This is precisely why 3D sucks balls.

You don't have to know the technology to enjoy it. 😉

I am wondering why the 360 does 3D and it is not advertised as such. Does the 360's 3D pale in comparison to the PS3 or something?

I'm wondering that as well. I've never seen it advertised for the 360, and in fact thought it wasn't even possible. I don't know why I thought that. Again, probably just because I've never seen anyone taliking about it.

That's exactly what i was gonna say. As far as AC3 I never liked it i tried AC 1 and hated the controls I gave AC 2 a try and detested it as well. The thing is that i love the stealth genre i just can't get use to the controls
Maybe i'm too old

The Assassins Creed games are the most beautiful games I've played on my ps3. I think they look absolutely stunning. An aesthetic masterpiece.

The view from those lookouts, over the entire city… Priceless. It just never gets old.
