Fairy Fencer F Limited Edition Revealed

If you're a die-hard JRPG fan, you'll definitely want to consider this special edition.

NIS America's latest, Fairy Fencer F , will launch in North America on September 23. And as seen at the publisher's website , we're also getting a Limited Edition, priced at $74.99.

This attractive package features the game, a hardcover art book, the original soundtrack with jewel case (yeah, remember those?), a special collector's box, and a +1 Beanie of Dedication (7" wide). If you like the look of it, pre-order now; the Limited Edition is only available while supplies last. For those who seek to augment an already robust JRPG collection, this is the way to go.

If you haven't already, check out our recent preview of the game.

Oh, it just such an ugly game, why can't we have JRPG's which are not tainted with generic anime art direction.

Oh boohoo. Ive got a better idea for you to do instead of complaining about a game youd never buy.
Go cry me a river get swept away by it and dont come back. Ignorant a**hats like this piss me off sometimes. You dont like anime or anime games fine but dont come here and act like you are owed something especially with a jrpg.

Can someone recommend me which of these NIS RPG's are the best 1 or 2? I don't mind trying them out, but I see a bunch of them, don't know what order they are in (i guess I could look them up), don't know what the differences are, and don't know which one's are considered the best.

Well NIS puts out a lot of different kinds of games, so it depends on what you are into. Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory is the best they've published so far where overall quality is concerned.

Also if you plan on playing Victory you can wait a few month we are getting Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth for the Vita which is a full Remake of the first game taking the mechanics from Victory along with other tweaks. The original was not very good at all gameplay wise. Not sure when we'll get Re;Birth 2 for the West but Hyperdimension Neptunia MK2 is very playable even if it isn't the greatest RPG combat it will at least get some good laughs out of you.

Warning though Hyperdimension is VERY Japanese so if you can't handle Loli, Big Boobs, Skimpy outfits, Crude Humour, a Pedophile villain who gets his hands on the two youngest girls, as well as plenty of other things quite a few people would be turned off by you might want to turn away. Also a large knowledge of videogames, anime, and Japan will help greatly with understanding the humour.
