According to Videogamer citing the LinkedIn profile of Jonathan G., Rockstar San Diego has contributed to Grand Theft Auto V .
And why is that significant? Because up until now, we all assumed Rockstar North was the only team cranking away on the GTA installment; hence, it seems multiple Rockstar studios are collaborating on the huge title. Then again, both teams came together for Red Dead Redemption , too (where Rockstar San Diego was the primary group). Also, if you watch the closing credits of the recently released Max Payne 3 , you'll note that multiple Rockstar development studios worked on that one as well.
So it's all one big party, apparently. And when it comes to what we consider the most consistently quality developer of the generation , we have no qualms whatsoever about inter-company collaboration. Do you?

Too bad Team Bondi isn't around to help out on the cause. Imagine how much better it would be for the ps3. Maybe then it would actually render at 720p hehehe jk. It's just too bad that third party devs don't enlist the help of first party ps3 devs to help out on the games, and that way make the game run so much better and efficient on the ps3. I know its far fetched but a man can dream.
HMMM, I was under the assumption that various R* locations always helped out each other on all their games.
If my memory still serves me right, whenever I've started up a R* disc in the past, I usually saw a variety of at least 2(& up to 5) different R* colored logo's that each denoted a different R* locale within their clan that contributed to that game.
Now that you mention it I think I've noticed the same.
Yea I think i seen em too… I think i seen the similar thing with 2K games… everytime i finish one of their games i see multiple colored 2k Logos
every R* game has that, watch the credits for MP3 they spend more time thanking other R* studios than the main developer!
Yea. I hope Rockstar San Diego is helping to add a ghost town and maybe some RDR references. That would be the coolest!

The Red Dead team should be working on another Red Dead!!! I absolutely love RDR! I'm still playing pretty often. Just to go hunting and what not. A person could be entertained for years with a PS3 and one copy of RDR. I frequently just hang out and admire the utter beauty all around in that game.
I better stop. I'm gonna cry…
I completely understand where you're coming from! Red Dead Redemption is by far a very gorgeous game. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't wishing away the days til the new Red Dead comes out.
I've been playing RDR for the last month & just about finished it, so I've just been spending time doing 2 to 3 day hunting trip excursions lately,(that's in-game time, mind you), usually maxing out my Wolves & Coyotes.
Hell after all my buying sprees of every horse deed, all weapons & ammo, & every other bit of general goods too, I'm still left with over $127,000 to spend(Look out Poker, Blackjack & Liars Poker, cause here I come).
And I've been playing RDR's Undead Nightmare over past few days(in real-time, LOL), and just got the trophy for cleansing every infected town & area all over the whole US & Mexico(with a couple places cleansed 2 & 3 times over).
Now I'm trying to find a few of the mythical creatures, A Chupacabra & 2 of the Apocolypse horses.
BTW, I already found all the Susquatch & I really felt like shite after I put the last one out of his misery(I keep wishing that I had just rode away instead).
I did find & broke in 2 of the Apocalypse Horses, Famine & the Flaming horse(forgot which one he was, "War" I think????).
And I got him soon in the beginning, but only after my third sighting due to 2 to 4 grizzlies who repeated gang-raped me on my 1st 2 attempts as I was roping my horse in so I could jump on & break him in…..I'm guessing that I must've tasted like chicken.
Anyway, I'm loving RDR & UN, BUT…..there are 2 mighty big things that's been really pissing me off about both, RDR & Undead because in R/L, your tried & true trusted "real" steed will not wander off the map to the far side of East Jabip like R*'s horses do.
And of course, my horses were a bunch of mindless cusses(all of them were dumber than a bag of cement left out during monsoon season)!
Case in point…I had been using my flaming Apocalypse horse on a bunch of "Missing citizen" missions and after I got off of him at a safe distance from the river, doesn't he then just trot away, throwing himself in the river & drownoing right before my eyes, and never to be seen again(till 100% completion of the game according to the RDR Wiki site).
And at least 5 other times one horse or another decided to throw themselves off cliffs, like they were recent descendants of Atlantic City's own famous Steel Pier Diving Horse.
So after losing my Apocolypse horse, & I whistled for another horse, I just had to get a 180-proof punch-drunk maggot-ridden, no-neck, rotten-corpse, of a "Undead" carrcuses that had a (missing)mind of it's own & would go left when you steered it right & go right when you wanted "it" to go left. Hell I got punch-drunk with vertigo every time I rode that "thing"!
It's just a damned good thing that the sheriffs & deputy's didn't have tickets books to give out while on the range, or every American & Mexican judge would've had volumes & volumes of reckless charges to sort through.
Damn, ya know what?????
I'm still damned mighty mad about losing my flaming Apocalypse horse because was my favorite steed(so far) & since I had found him right away, I had used him almost the entire time I played Undead Nightmare.
So I only hope that when I find the unicorn, she's not as stupid & can at least read Mapquest.
