LittleBigPlanet 3 Servers Taken Offline “Indefinitely”

Sony was forced to take LittleBigPlanet 3 servers offline for PS3 users amid a massive DDoS attack, but now even PS4 players are feeling the sting. Ongoing technical issues led to PS4 players losing access to the game back in January and now it seems it’ll be some time — if ever — before players can share their creations.

On Twitter, the official LBP Twitter shared an update regarding the servers and its online future. At this time, the PS4 servers are remaining offline “indefinitely,” meaning players can no longer share user creations. Luckily, you can still play locally stored maps on your PS4, but you can no longer share your creations with the masses.

The game’s campaign can also be played as normal as well as other offline features. It’s truly a sting to the LBP community.

LittleBigPlanet 3 launched in 2014 and has remained among Sony’s most iconic mascots, especially with Spyro and Crash joining Team Green with the Activision Blizzard acquisition.
