Ben-DutkaYeah, some of you new PlayStation Vita owners might be planning to pick up Silent Hill: Book of Memories this week.
But we might have some bad news for all the survival/horror fans out there. A reader has pointed us in the direction of Amazon.com where the game has slipped to May 31. That's a significant delay but we haven't heard anything official from Konami.
Since then, we've also learned that GameFly has also given Book of Memories a May 31 date. If true, this would be the second delay the game has suffered; it was originally supposed to be a launch title for Sony's new portable. After that, it was pushed to March – as was the recently released Silent Hill HD Collection – and now it seems to be pushed out even further. Why? No idea, really. But I certainly hope it turns out decent because let me tell you, Silent Hill: Downpour isn't really cutting it. Look for that review tomorrow.
The Vita can always use top-notch software, though, so ideally, Book of Memories will be the new Silent Hill that's actually worth buying.

Seeing how Downpour apparently isn't that good, and the HD Collection is full of bugs and glitches… Maybe they thought to themselves…
"Maybe we should hold off and actually test play this?"
im not too concerned about this, but i sure would like to see a date locked down for mortal kombat for the vita! i look at 5 different sites and get 5 different answers.
Isn't this that crappy top-down action multiplayer game though?

Downpour not cutting it, SH HD shockingly having performance and graphical issues and now this? I'm a sad Silent Hill fan Panda.

WTFs wrong with konami lately!?
every single game they have released the past year has been delayed 3,4,5,6,7,8,9 times!
neverdead for instance i went to go pick it up the day it was out and the manager told me we never received it.
not that it had been pushed back, just we never received any copies.
she phoned around and no one had received their shipment and no one knew why.
2 weeks later i get a phone call ah you asked me to ring you when its out?
well its out.
just out of the blue!
same with the HD collection.
that was suppose to be out the same day as ninja gaiden 3 and racoon city.
went to pick it up and again sorry dunno why but we have not received our shipment, no one has!
so whens it coming out?
no freaking idea!
konami really dont want their games selling do they?
there just releasing games just for something to do in the afternoon!
