Tales Of Zestiria Microtransaction Bundle Goes For $20

Yes, it's basically cheating. But at least you have to pay to cheat.

Microtransactions are plenty common in gaming today and for long games, they're actually a welcome option for certain consumers.

That's why publisher Bandai Namco is giving you the chance to pick up the Adventure Items Pack for the recently released Tales of Zestiria .

As detailed at Gearnuke , this paid DLC gets you experience, levels, equipment, and a variety of stat boosters (click through the link to see the entire list). The Pack retails for $19.99 so it had better get you all kinds of boosts, considering it goes for 1/3 the price of the game itself. Yeah, I expect to be able to double my gold and get 10 extra levels for that price. And don't forget that Tales of Vesperia on Xbox 360 offered a similar paid perk, so this is hardly without precedent.

Tales of Zestiria , the latest installment in the well-received and long-running JRPG series, released this week for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 4. Review coming soon.
