Maybe that's one of the reasons why Sony just recently announced a price drop for their console. However, some Sony bosses still see one title as a potential PS4 system-seller: Uncharted: The Nathan Drake Collection .
As PlayStation UK product manager Joe Palmer tells MCV UK , the compilation is attractive to many because, as Naughty Dog said a few days ago , most PS4 owners haven't played the series yet:
"It certainly has the power to be a system-seller this Christmas. It offers fantastic value as a gifting proposition, giving newcomers the chance to pick up a PlayStation 4 with three great games at a very competitive price. PlayStation's audience base has also changed significantly since the original Uncharted games were released, so there's a huge number of gamers looking to buy a PS4 who may never have played these games before." ,/p>
And of course, as Palmer later indicated, the Collection doesn't only appeal to those who have never played the games it features. It will also cater to big fans of the award-winning franchise, of which there are many. Hell, I've played all three and I still want it because I want the best versions of my favorite games in my collection. What's wrong with that?
And if I didn't already own the system, this would be extremely attractive .

For those that have not played the franchise or own a PS4 – yes it will be a system seller but I don't think there will be too many gamers that already played some of the games that are going to be like "yes! Time to buy a PS4 because of the Uncharted collection"
I'll still buy this collection even though I've played all 3 games on my ps3. I'll probably buy it on Nov or Dec since my wallet is reserved for Tales of Zestiria and Assassins Creed Syndicate this October. ^_^

I'd take a piece of styrofoam over the Blops PS4.
I love the UC franchise but I ain't buying this again.
Only collection I'm buying is the Resistance Collection but so far it's only for the PS3.
Real Talk. The reason that its a legit system sell is because sony has no exclusives this holiday season thats why they needed a price drop to compete with xbox. Meanwhile Xbox has Forza 6, Halo 5 and timed exclusive Tomb Raider.
Truth is most people buy consoles for multi-platform games not exclusives. Multi-plat games have performed better on PS4, just as they did on Xbox 360 last gen. Xbox 360 would have continued it's dominance if the former execs at Microsoft didn't grow complacent. It's no coincidence that the console with better performing multi-platform games and the most third party support is selling the best.
At this point, Sony does not need to drop the price to compete with Microsoft when they lead with a comfortable 10-15 million units. However, they do need a price drop to grow their lead to a even more comfortable 20-25 million units. Next generation could be different but, this is most likely how it will continue to be this generation.

I don't think it is because years old last gen games on new gen consoles just aren't and haven't ever been nor should they be. Sorry. 60fps, 1080p and minor touch up work on old games isn't enough.
Uncharted 4 will be legit though.
I got the Uncharted Collection though cuz' I wanted it!

I'm going back and forth on it. Honestly I never intend to play my uncharted discs again, but you fix something up and put it on new hardware and I'm kind of a sucker. Then there's Chloe… damn.
Xbox conversions to the Jedi forces will need to experience it to see and wonder why they played Gears.
It is!!! Yes it's that good! So much more responsive and the aiming is better. UC1 plays very updated. I am so happy right now. Been playing pretty much all day off and on. Let's you start right from the beginning on Crushing difficulty as well. Elena looks so beautiful and and yes the guys look way better than they did on the PS4. It's really evident right from the beginning of UC1 with Nathan and Elena on the boat in their wet suits. You can tell it's 1080p. Still waiting for Golden Abyss announcement. Now give us God of War 1 and 2 with visuals like this!! Wouldn't mind Ascension on the PS4 either! Bluepoint did a great job!!! Such a talented remaster studio.
