For the record, I have no official press release in my inbox and there's no verifying link in this source. However, it all seems perfectly plausible, so…
According to Pressa2join.com , Square Enix has announced general launch windows for the release of Rise of the Tomb Raider on PC and PlayStation 4.
It seems Windows 10 and Steam will get it in early 2016, while PS4 players will have to wait until Holiday 2016. This would give the anticipated Tomb Raider sequel a year's worth of console exclusivity on Xbox platforms, which is about what everyone expected. And of course, when the game comes to PS4, it will undoubtedly launch with a few updates and maybe some extra content. It's the way of the gaming world.
Personally, I'm fine with waiting. I think I'll have more than enough to play in 2016 on PS4, thank you.
Related Game(s): Rise of the Tomb Raider
I'll likely wait until it's like $10 on Steam. That'll presumably happen around the same time the game releases on ps4 for $60.
The last one was awesome, but I don't mind waiting for this one.
Got lots to play still…
My PS4 backlog will keep me entertained until then; hopefully, by the time the PS4 versions hit, they will be Game of the Year editions…
Well i see the sony only gamers are waiting as for me i'll just play this on my xbone first then again on my ps4 next year
You plan on buying it twice? At full price? What for?
Yup twice and at full price
edit: because i can

Or you could spend those 60 euros on poor children?
Or gave the extra cash to Shenmue 3!
I really liked the first one quite a bit, but when you consider Uncharted 4 is due out next year, I might not even care.
This really pisses me off. I bought the game twice, I proved my loyalty and fangeekness and it's just cool to have Microsoft pay a fee to keep the new game away from me?
Is this what MS brings to gaming? Huh?

im calling it now, it will get released a year later with all/any extra content packaged along with it.
Both sides play the game. And no, I don't want to hear any stories about poor destitute Capcom needing Sony to help make SFV. Their help was written into the deal is all. much like EA's Titanfall being 'helped' by MS, or Crystal Dynamics stating this partnership was the best thing that could happen to this TR game. It's all marketing hyperbole being bought and sold.

happy gaming
us PS4 gamers should get all the DLC that will no doubt be released on the xbox version included for free with the PS4 version. it's only right if we have to wait an extra year
