Yamauchi: GT7 Coming Before 2017

If you're wondering about Gran Turismo , here's the update you've been waiting for.

Creator Kazunori Yamauchi told Italian games site SpazioGames (as translated by GameSpot ) that Gran Turismo 7 will drop before 2017 for PlayStation 4.

When asked if the game would arrive in 2017, Yamauchi replied that they "must not wait so long." He also added that his team at Polyphony Digital are now taking impact physics very seriously, and they're working to solve such problems found in previous installments. Lastly, he confirmed that we'd see more premium cars, which boast greater damage modeling and a higher level of overall detail. That's to be expected for the new generation, right?

We might not see GT7 at this year's E3 but it seems inevitable that it'll show up at E3 2016.

To be exact, he's saying that impact is actually easy to implement, but a lot of work. So it's really just priority and time at this point. I personally hope it's in the low priority. I don't care so much for visual damage. Mechanical damage I do hope for.

PDI, for the first time is going to face some serious competition on a Sony console.

With Project Cars and Assetto Corsa now on the PS4 offering serious simulation Gran Turismo 7 is going to have be excellent on all fronts.

yeah i'd say so those new features is stuff i'd expect to see now so thats cool new stuff to look forward to. and as for the others stuff i'd like to say that waiting lets see over a year and half till Q1 2017 is probably a bit long or a game like GT7 considering shu probably had them working on GT7 while they were doing the online stuff for GT6 so shouldn't be too far away

happy gaming
