Uh…not for me, thanks.
But maybe the uber-hardcore, borderline masochists out there will appreciate it.
During a recent Twitch live-stream event , developer CD Projekt Red said they're working on a special difficulty mode for their hugely anticipated RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt .
It's called "Insanity" and it's aptly named. Well, we assume it's aptly named because we don't have the details just yet, although one idea is that death is complete and total. In other words, if you die once, it's all over; you'd have to start over from the beginning . Somehow, though, they want to make this mode crazy punishing but still "fun," as noted at Game Informer .
Yeah, doesn't sound like much "fun" to me but again, I'm not the right audience for such a mode. Are you…? The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is slated to arrive for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC on May 19.

I'd rather they just release it.
Sounds awesome.
I like the idea.
I like it so much, I wish this was the default mode.
For everyone.
You're f*ckin nuts.
I will playing it on the easiest setting, like a newbs…
yup
"I'm your huckleberry that's just my sport"
Insanity for the insane. Game on.
Sounds like a whole lot of fun.
I'm really curious about the "normal" difficulty setting. From what I can gather the first two Witchers were closer to the difficult side of gaming. That's fine as long as the option to over level grind myself to security is there. If we can't have AAA turn based RPGs we should at least be able to over level ourselves to the equivalent on these "action" RPGs.
Once upon a time I had time to play stuff on such difficulty but now? I'll just play it on Normal.
no doesn't sounds like my cup of tea but like you say theres bound to be people who will who want to be on the edge of the seat trying to survive the hard mode
happy gaming
