It’s been about three years since the closure of PlayStation Studios’ PixelOpus, the developer behind Concrete Genie and prior to that, 2014’s Entwined, which has just been delisted.
As reported by PlayStation LifeStyle, and confirmed by PSX Extreme, PixelOpus’ debut PS4 (and later PS3 and Vita) game has been pulled from sale seemingly out of the blue. Originally, fans could swipe it the PS exclusive through PlayStation Plus Extra. The decision to pull the game is also weird, as the studio’s second (and final) game, Concrete Genie, is still for sale at this time.
The soundtrack also seems to be original, so the decision to pull the game likely isn’t due to some copyright surrounding the music, so it’s more likely that Sony might just be through with the game, as the PS4 player count is finally starting to lag behind the current generation.
