Nintendo Reveals The Legend Of Zelda Movie Stars

Nintendo’s Shigeru Miyamoto has confirmed who’s starring in the Sony-backed The Legend of Zelda live action adaptation.

On Twitter (thanks, Switch Yo!), Miyamoto shared that the film will star Bo Bragason and Benjamin Evan Ainsworth as Zelda and Link respectively. While you may know Ainsworth for his work on Everything’s Going to be Great and Disney’s live action Pinocchio, Bragason is best known for King and Conqueror and Three Girls.

Announced back in November 2023, Sony is co-financing the flick with Wes Ball helmed as the director, seeking to make a “live action Miyazaki” feel. While it did get pushed back, it’s still slated for 2027.
