Still not sure how this will turn out, but it could be fantastic for hardcore racing fanatics.
As revealed by The Hollywood Reporter , "Watchmen" writer Alex Tse has been tapped to write the film adaptation of Sony's blockbuster Gran Turismo series.
Tse teamed up with Metal Gear Solid voice actor David Hayter to write the screenplay for Zach Snyder's adaptation of Alan Moore's "Watchmen." He is currently writing the remake of the sci-fi cult classic, "Highlander," and a live-action adaptation of the "Ninja Scroll" anime. The producers for the Gran Turismo film are Michel De Luca, Kevin Spacey and Dana Brunetti, who also teamed up for the recently released "Captain Phillips."
The movie in question chronicles a professional racer's career. I say it's probably way more fun to play than to watch but hey, with the right people on board, the film could be great.
well i hope it turns out well
happy gaming =)
Not a big fan of racing games, but I don't know if this guy is the best option. I loved Watchmen because of its visual style and narrative but, to be honest, the film did have its flaws and some plot holes. For the record, I have only seen one film from Tse, so I could be wrong.
The real simulated film experience!!
