Aaron ThomasNamco Bandai announced today that Xenosaga Episode III: Also sprach Zarathustra, the final chapter in the Xenosaga RPG series, has shipped exclusively for the PS2. The game should be hitting retailers nationwide today.

Xenosaga III takes ‘epic’ to a whole new level with its grand-scale and engrossing storyline and the speedy, action-packed battle system,” Yoshi Niki, of Namco Bandai.
The story of Xenosaga III starts a year after Xenosaga II ended. Shion has resigned from Vector Industries after learning that the company is deeply connected to the Gnosis phenomenon. She instead joins forces with Scientia, an underground organization working to unveil Vector’s secrets. Xenosaga III’s final chapter boasts more than three hours of movies, an updated battle system and an improved customization feature with more in-depth character specialization and diversification.
