A few months ago, we heard rumblings that a certain dead title has been resurrected.
Ni-Oh was originally unveiled way back in 2004 as a PlayStation 3 launch title but it never showed up. Now, it's official: The project, courtesy of Team Ninja, is coming to PlayStation 4 next year.
Announced during the PlayStation Experience, Ni-Oh appears to be a great blend of Dark Souls and a little Devil May Cry , and the gameplay trailer is pretty damn sweet. It looks like just the kind of game we've been missing; a dark, linear, narrative-driven adventure along the lines of the old Onimusha titles. There's no launch date yet but here's hoping it shows up sooner rather than later.
There also appears to be the distinct possibility that Ni-Oh will support co-op fun, which is something a lot of those old action games were missing. Let's hope!

This was my fav from the show. It looks like a faster more responsive Bloodborne.
It just looks like Onimusha and NG to me. Both where out before BB.
About the only title im excited for from the show. Is it just me or is PlayStation becomÃng the home of 2D side scrolling gaming

Yup, definitely the home of 2D side-scrollers. Not one AAA title…

A pleasant surprise from the show. I'll be keeping an eye on this one
