The biggest MMOs in history are on the way, and they're coming to the PlayStation Network. We still only have baseline details for both MAG and The Agency , but it seems we won't have much longer to wait…
According to PS3Center , an anonymous source who attended the recent Sony event in Seattle has confirmed that betas are on the way for both of the aforementioned titles. In fact, these beta tests may arrive much sooner than expected; they may even be ready to go by the time E3 gets here! The developers for these titles – Zipper Interactive and Sony Online Entertainment, both based in Seattle – answered press questions at this event, and apparently, they let this information slip. We don't have any exact beta dates for you but as it stands, MAG is slated to launch some time this fall, while The Agency won't make it until 2010. Any and all details we've received thus far have been promising, but it's often difficult to tell if the information is accurate. What better way to learn about these games? Why, test them, of course! Can you imagine how nuts the multiplayer beta for MAG will be…? A game that supports up to 256 players online at the same time? The possibilities for both MMOs are positively endless, and the only way we'll truly appreciate their potential is to dive in and get our feet wet. Let's hope we can do it soon!
Perhaps this will be one of the biggest announcements at E3: beta tests for MAG and The Agency . If this does come about, prepare yourself for what may be unparalleled online experiences!

Oh ya! Gigidy gigidy!
Yea might be best E3 since…..
…. EVER!!!!
*drools* i cant wait to play MAG!
i dont even know what The Agency is about though :/
I signed up for the Agency beta about a year ago (go to the website and click on the bullet), never heard back though.
Same here chicko. Hopefully they remember all of us that sent the emails to them. I really want to play The Agency.
I'll try, but betas are hard to get into.
While I am almost assured that MAG will be the shit, I have to wonder if the Agency will pull through
Does anyone know if MAG will support bots? I hope there's the option to play single player skirmishes like KZ2 as well.
That wpould be hard… the entire outcome would be based on the performance of the bots, and not so much yourself.
The agency looks very interesting;can't wait for it but I don't get why people are saying is exclusive when is really not.
Because it's made by Sony owned companies. I think they only care that it's not on the 360, lol. No one seems to remember the PC, lol. Also there is almost no 360 exlusive 😉 They all come out for pc at some point. And using the right tools you can stream from pc to ps3 and boom, gears on ps3 🙂
That's something that struck me, if it's on windows, why isn't it on 360? Just because Sony doesn't want direct competition to have it? Just wondering.
Awesome…this certainly is a year of software for the PS3.
The agency looks like it's gonna suck to me, hope im wrong.
sweet cant wait these are the reasons it great to be a beta tester
Ohhhhhhh, I hope I get in!
I'm pretty sure I'll probably end up getting MAG, but not to sure about the Agency. With Zipper's Socom experience MAG should be pretty awesome, but beside a few SoE games I know of only on PC what good console games do they have? The Agency trailer from last year did look cool though, it reminded me of Team Fortress 2. I definitely want in on those betas though, any word on entry into MAG's beta?
I got into the Home beta how I do not know but I had it for a few days before it got released in the UK. Not heard of anyone I know out of my friends here getting into any other betas.
I like the look of the Agency and Mag online sounds pure nuts 256 a side should be well good if the servers hold up.

It's not 256 per side. It's 256 max total. 128 per side.
well SCEA did say this E3 would be the biggest for them in 11 years or something like that.
