The biggest MMOs in history are on the way, and they're coming to the PlayStation Network. We still only have baseline details for both MAG and The Agency , but it seems we won't have much longer to wait…
According to PS3Center , an anonymous source who attended the recent Sony event in Seattle has confirmed that betas are on the way for both of the aforementioned titles. In fact, these beta tests may arrive much sooner than expected; they may even be ready to go by the time E3 gets here! The developers for these titles – Zipper Interactive and Sony Online Entertainment, both based in Seattle – answered press questions at this event, and apparently, they let this information slip. We don't have any exact beta dates for you but as it stands, MAG is slated to launch some time this fall, while The Agency won't make it until 2010. Any and all details we've received thus far have been promising, but it's often difficult to tell if the information is accurate. What better way to learn about these games? Why, test them, of course! Can you imagine how nuts the multiplayer beta for MAG will be…? A game that supports up to 256 players online at the same time? The possibilities for both MMOs are positively endless, and the only way we'll truly appreciate their potential is to dive in and get our feet wet. Let's hope we can do it soon!
Perhaps this will be one of the biggest announcements at E3: beta tests for MAG and The Agency . If this does come about, prepare yourself for what may be unparalleled online experiences!
