But the time has come to finally lay eyes on the most anticipated multiplayer of the year. As spotted by MP1st , developer Treyarch has posted an update on their Facebook page that has generated much drool from members of the CoD crowd.
"Synchronize your watches and start the countdown! Only 4 days left until the worldwide reveal of Black Ops 2 Multiplayer."
That puts the unveiling on August 7, so get ready for lots of discussion and analysis in this coming week. Although some are wondering if the crazy popular Call of Duty franchise is losing some of its steam (and EA may have stolen some away with their acclaimed Battlefield series), it's still a guarantee that Black Ops II will be a smash hit and almost certainly the most-played multiplayer title of the year.
Then again, Halo 4 comes out this year, too, so maybe that'll have an impact. Who knows?

I'm not even interested in the multiplayer. Unless they fixed the hit detection from the first, I'm not playing it; Not to mention its gonna lag. I only want this game for zombies.
I hope it debuts with an exclusive song by Linkin Park and or Snoop Dog. Reveals its own BlOps2 BK Whopper, can of Mountain Dew, and proud sponsor of the Olympic games approval. Oh, and something Michael Phelps.

so far its got higher preorders than BO2!
i wouldent be surprised if halo 4 ends up breaking sales records, which is pretty amazing in its own right but for a exclusive that would be insane!
the games releasing earlier too so that will be another big advantage.
im still a bit iffy on the story of BO2 though.
ive always hated the IW story style, how they take the story of one character for one mission, than flash back to another, than flash back to another, ect, ect.
it just gets really annoying, one moment your in a chopper at the white house and the next second your in russia!

its gamings equivalent of how TV shows put in 1 interesting bit in their show and always save it till the end, or how the simpsions always goes to a add break, than comes back just to show the last 15 seconds of the show.
god that pisses me off!
i wish they just set this in the future, instead of trying to tie this back to the original and flash between past and future.
just pick one and stick with it!
I don't particularly understand what's so good about this franchise. I regret purchasing modern warfare 1, biggest waste of money.
