If you're a gamer, you're no stranger to pre-order incentives. Most aren't anything special, but this one is intriguing.
It's all the more intriguing if you have to catch up on a couple AAA titles you've missed this generation. A reader has turned us onto a cool GameStop deal for Max Payne 3 pre-orders.
If you drop your deposit on the long-awaited third entry, GameStop will give you a $10 discount on new copies of L.A. Noire and Red Dead Redemption: Game of the Year Edition . Obviously, this is Rockstar-oriented; the developer tends to produce some pretty amazing experiences, and you don't want to miss out. Red Dead Redemption was like GTA in the Old West and garnered plenty of awards last year, and L.A. Noire was a fantastic detective drama with an innovative facial technology called MotionScan.
So just pre-order Max Payne 3 and save $10 on either gem in question. How can you go wrong? Just remember that this offer expires when the ball drops in Times Square.
Related Game(s): Max Payne 3
I already own both Read Dead and L.A. Noire so I'm good.
However, if Rockstar wants to send that iPhone port of the first Max Payne along with the second one to my PS3 in HD, I'll be more interested.
Gamestop is never getting another dime from me.
Seeing as how those two greats are already at a discount price it's not a bad deal.
not so sure on Max Payne 3. Will most likely be a rental.
Cool! Maybe I'll do this as I don't have Red Dead (I know, I know, I'm crazy for not playing it yet). I don't think I'll preorder anytime soon though as this holiday season has produced max pain to my wallet.
SEE WHAT I DID THERE?!?
Gonna have to see some new gameplay before I get interested in this one. So far I've seen shooting and the same slo-mo mechanics that the old ones had; in other words, zero innovation on the gameplay front. Until they show me that they've added cool new features to the game besides euphoria and graphics, I'm not sold.
whats the point of that?
10 bucks off a R* game, well everyone already has every R* game considering how well they have sold!
and by the time the next R* game comes out after MP3 will all be in nursing homes!
