Look, Han Solo is into portable gaming. Surprised?
Harrison Ford has been promoting the PlayStation Vita and Uncharted: Golden Abyss (he was Indiana Jones, too, remember?) in Japan, and that's…well, pretty cool.
Here's the cover of a special issue of Dengeki PlayStation magazine, where Ford is holding the Vita and looking a trifle confused. Or maybe he's in awe; it's hard to tell.
This special issue of the magazine coincides with the Vita's launch, which is one week from tomorrow on December 17. Personally, I'd like to see more game-related behind-the-scenes stars promoting products, like Jaffe or Kojima or Christophe Balestra (Naughty Dog). Gamers would appreciate that, don't you think? I mean, not that Harrison Ford isn't useful for the Vita brand…I'm just saying.
We wonder if the Vita even needs Ford's mug in the Japanese advertising. Recent polls suggest gamers in the Land of the Rising Sun are already sold on the nifty handheld unit.
