STALKER 2 Sets Sights On Late 2025 PS5 Launch

After much anticipation, STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl is finally coming to PlayStation 5 with a vague “late 2025” release window. Moreover, it’ll have PS5 Pro enhancements.

A trailer first shared by IGN, revealed GSC Game World’s plans. On top of the supposed PS5 Pro enhancements, which have been left a bit vague, it’ll also use the standout features of the DualSense, such as haptic feedback and adaptive triggers, which will no doubt deepen player immersion.

This reveal is a change of heart, considering GSC Game World asserted that they had no plans to launch the game to PS5 as recently as December 2024. Now, they were probably more covering that as they wanted to ensure the current versions were in a solid enough state before adding another platform to the mix.
