Well, we all figured it was coming, but we didn't really expect the confirmation until next year. As it turns out, the talented developer is indeed working on Uncharted 4 for the PS4, as evidenced by the official teaser trailer .
Of course, there's no knowing exactly when the game will arrive, but many have speculated that it'll be available for the 2014 holiday season. And if Amazon's placeholder date for the new project is any indication, that might happen. Of course, December 31, 2014 could mean just about anything (the retailer just wants you to pre-order, really), but it might be a very small clue.
Thus far, all the Uncharted titles (minus Golden Abyss for the Vita) released in either October or November; the first was in mid-November, and the second and third entries dropped in October. Additionally, it'd be huge for Sony to have the new Uncharted to help push the PS4 during the holiday rush. Cross your fingers!
Yea the earlier the better. I cant wait to see what ND can do with the PS4. Not only that but it will be with one of the greatest franchises ever!

yeah it'll be interesting alright to see when we get an offical release date and yea to see what they can do with new hardware wil be interestin for sure we're all skyed

So when ND said their next game wasn't in space did they mean THIS game? If so then the game AFTER this Uncharted COULD be in space 🙂

Um, they actually announced and released this trailer on the Spika PS4 Launch Event, just BEFORE(not after) the PS4 launch.
Cant wait for it im sure Naughty Dog well do great work on the Ps4. Now I kinda urge to play 1-3 again before i box up my Ps3 for good.
In other news, promotion for Fallout 4 has started! With a countdown clock for a Fallout announcement on December 11, 2013.
Personally I find this to be roughly one thousand times more interesting 🙂

I'd have to agree. As much as I liked the Uncharted games, Fallout 3 was my favorite title of the the seventh gen.
The December 31 placeholder date is not a clue as much as an admission that they expect it in 2014 but they don't know when.
