Yeah, I know.
You're tired of seeing this kinda faux news articles concerning Beyond Good & Evil 2 . We've been hearing about it for nearly 7 years and so far, all we have is the ongoing promise of creator Michel Ancel. And we've got the same damn screenshot from the same damn 2009 teaser trailer, which I just refuse to post again.
But hey, if there's even the slightest chance for optimism, I'll take it.
As discovered by DualShockers , there's a new April listing for "Beyond Good & Evil" in the European Union Intellectual Property Office database, and this trademark covers video games and other things as well. Of course, this doesn't mean a new announcement is inevitable; it could just mean Ubisoft is re-securing its right to the IP. Even so, it's not uncommon for official news to arrive shortly after the filing (or re-filing) of a trademark.
Maybe at long last we'll see the long-anticipated sequel at E3 this year. Back in January, Ancel once again said the follow-up title is still coming , though as usual, he offered no details. 'sigh' Feels a lot like The Last Guardian at times, doesn't it?
I'll just recommend Beyond Good & Evil HD again.

Not holding my breath, but we all need more games like this.
Rumor has it this is being funded by Nintendo. You know what that could mean? 🙂
Beyond Good and Evil 2 a Nintendo NX launch exclusive. And i would buy the Nintendo NX just for that game alone.

I would cry. But yes, I would also buy whatever system is necessary to play this game.
Wasn't the original a Gamecube exclusive at first?
