NPD Sales Chart November 2004

The NPD Group, which tracks video game sales in North America, has released its monthly sales data for November 2004. Microsoft's Halo 2 and Halo 2 Ltd Edition for the Xbox took the top spots with more than 3 million units in combined sales, and bringing up a close third was Rockstar's latest installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise.

Before we present the figures, we'd like to remind everyone that Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas actually shipped to stores on October 26th, and it took the top spot in that month's chart with 2 million copies sold (in the span of five days).
