Neil Druckmann Steps Away From The Last Of Us Show

Naughty Dog’s Neil Druckmann split his time between acting as the studio head as well as a co-creator of HBO’s The Last of Us TV show, well now he’s stepping away from the latter.

Naughty Dog’s official Twitter shared that following Season 2’s work done and “before any meaningful work starts on Season 3,” Druckmann’s stepping away to focus on Intergalactic. This will leave the brunt of the show on the shoulders of co-creator Craig Mazin.

Beyond Druckmann, though, Halley Gross, who was The Last of Us 2‘s narrative lead, has also confirmed on social media that she will also be stepping away to “make space for what comes next.”

What do you think? Are you still in for The Last of Us show’s third season even without Druckmann’s say? Let us know below!
