Funcom Issues Update On Dune: Awakening’s Console Release Date

On June 10, Funcom finally launched their highly anticipated Dune: Awakening game on PC. The game is a survival MMO set within the Dune universe of books (and now widely popular films), where players get to take on the harsh environment of Arrakis.

Now that the game has launched and met with positive praise, PlayStation gamers have been left wondering when they might be able to get their hands on the title. Thankfully, in a recent press release from the developers, the team have confirmed that Dune: Awakening will be coming to consoles, and we can expect it to hit our PlayStation consoles sometime in 2026.

At the moment, no other information has been given about when in 2026 the console edition will release, although by the impressions players have been getting, we’re hoping that it arrives sooner rather than later.
