You probably can't log into the PlayStation Network right now and if you can, some features may be missing.
Sony is aware of the PSN problems and have issued an update at the PlayStation Blog , apologizing for the issue and informing everyone that the outage could continue for a day or two. The statement reads:
"While we are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we're able to get the service completely back up and running. Thank you very much for your patience while we work to resolve this matter."
Well, it's a good thing that PS3 owners have other reasons to play this week's new games: Portal 2 features a campaign of a goodly length, Mortal Kombat is always fun (and even funner with a friend sitting next to you), and even SOCOM 4 has a single-player option of about 8 hours or so. Of course, we're gonna want the PSN back ASAP, so hopefully, Sony will get this resolved soon.
