This MGSV Issue Might Not Allow You To Load Your Game

Although Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain is unquestionably one of the best games of the generation thus far, it's not perfect.

We've heard about a variety of issues and the latest might really annoy a few people.

As reported by GameSpot , the latest problem involves busted save files.

Evidently, you might encounter this if you've got multiple Sony Entertainment Network accounts on one PlayStation 4 console. For some unfortunate souls, they get a message that reads: "This save data cannot be used, as the relevant downloadable content was not found." When this happens, you can't even start the game, which has just gotta suck. There doesn't appear to be anything you can do at this point, so…

Konami is working on a solution but for now, the only recommendation is to use a single SEN account on your PS4. This doesn't appear to be a widespread problem but it's also not isolated to a scant few, so maybe you should heed the advice. Don't want to lose save progress in this game, that's for sure!

It happened to me a couple of days ago.

I live in Mexico, but my main account is from Spain, so I use my Mexico PSN account to be able to use DLC but I play on my Spain account because I don't want to lose my trophies nor my PSN Plus subscription (It sucks not being able to migrate my account to another country).

Got this message and it freaked me out, but after restarting my PS4 it all worked as smooth as always.

I wonder if it would be possible to overwrite your corrupted file with the one that's backed up to the cloud. Assuming, of course, that the corrupted file hasn't been saved to the cloud already.

hmmm, I may have to periodically save my save files to USB.

I just finished mission 45. So good. Honestly, those who complain that the game feels "unfinished", I'm willing to bet they simply haven't played far enough. The story is there and it's freakin great.

There's only one loose end that I can tell. I won't spoil it but it's bothering me. Hope it's answered some how.

Never mind. It's tied up. Hahaha

For those who can fully complete this game, you can actually see that it ties things up nicely.

I've completed all missions and side ops missions, tbh I think the reason people are saying it feels unfinished is because of chapter 2 making you just replay missions on a harder difficulty in order to progress the story.

You don't have to replay all of those missions. I still have yet to replay 7 of those missions. With chapter 2 being shorter than 1, it doesn't mean the game is "unfinished". After 200+ hours of gameplay and a full wrap up of the events leading up to Metal Gear(1985), the game feels pretty finished to me.
