First, Rocksteady Studios and Eidos was good enough to give PlayStation 3 owners exclusive access to the Joker and now, more extra stuff will be exclusive to Sony's machine.
As reported by GameSpot , Eidos and Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has announced that the Prey in the Darkness Map Pack will be exclusive to the PSN in North America. It'll get added to the Network today so if you're a fan of the game – and a great many of you are – you should definitely snag it when it becomes available. If you live outside of North America and own the Xbox 360 or PC version, never fear, because this Map Pack will be multiplatform outside of this region. Prey in the Darkness features two new maps: Heart of Darkness pits the Caped Avenger against scores of freaks at the Arkham Pumping Station and Hothouse Prey requires stealth and patience within the Abandoned Glasshouse. Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from gamers, we figure a lot of fans are looking for ways to extend this particular title's longevity, and DLC is the best way to go. Why Eidos and Warner Bros. decided to once again cater to PS3 owners is unknown but hey, we're not about to complain.
But who wants to hear about Rocksteady's new project? Are they already planning a sequel? Or will they take their proven talents in another direction? Guess we'll just have to wait and see…

Good stuff… B:AA is a great game
It's a game that keeps on giving.
Wow, Rocksteady must like the PS3. Thanks guys. Now all they need to do is drop that crummy Unreal engine, build their own thats more suited for the PS3 and make a PS3 Exclusive Batman game that takes full advantage of the hardware.
That would be something to see, but maybe they don't have the time and resources to make a whole new engine.
Hopefully Rocksteady will add Crime Alley and Dem Bones to PSN for everyone. Sadly, I didn't preorder the game so I lost out on that DLC.
I got Dem Bones and I didn't preordered it. Maybe they handed it to me by mistake. What's Crime Alley?
I think it was the exclusive DLC that came with the collectors edition.
I pre ordered my copy of B: AA but never got those 2 DLCs…….., Damn you amazon.
I would like character add ons..
I don't understand the purpose of rocksteady/eidos making the map pack exclusive to playstation 3 in america. But making it multiplatform elsewhere.
Because the U.S. is the one market where the PS3 is lagging considerably behind the 360 for the moment, I'm sure Sony gave M$ft some of its own medicine and bought exclusivity for this DLC in the U.S.
m not a fan of super hero games, but it a welcome development..
You REALLY want them to do a Superman game, don't you? 😛
Considering how well they've pulled this off they could do a superb job with Superman.
I'm really starting to like these guys, they definitely know where to put their loyalty
If anyone could kick MS's a$$ on their home turf it would be Batman.
Thank you Rocksteady/Edioe for a great game and all the DLC. Can't wait to see what they got cooking next.
Take that 360. Bwahahahaha!
Downloading it right now while getting the trophies back for R2. Again have to thank rocksteady/eidos for making such a good game, and a well thought out plan for FREE dlc.
I finally got this game and I'm liking the sh** out of it. I'll take all the free stuff they want to dish out.
YES!! We finally have a mega blockbuster that is multiplatforuma dn exclusive to ps3 no other game has gotten that yet!!!!
while i dont call it dlc, Burnout Paradise was multiplatform and had an exclusive PS3 feature. i dont know how many of you guys have used this but copying your game file to a memory card or usb drive and uploading it to criterions site, they show you on a map where the stuff you have gotten or missed is at. this was actually super useful and i love it. on the topic of dlc criterion is king. those guys have done so much with their game, i didnt play it for a year put it back in my ps3 and had a whole new game.

that is some great news to hear a developer giving exclusive love to the ps3. i do not believe sony is paying any developers for anything exclusive. maybe more along the lines of incentives for things like this but not cash for exclusive content.
so did anyone compare the game on ps3 vs 360? did the developer say which one looks and runs better? or are they straight equal? just wondering.
I haven't looked for anything that the developers said but I have the PS3 and 360 version. I have the exact same hdtv for both and played them side by side. I have to give it the the PS3 version by far on this game compared to any other multiplatform game (Ps3 vs 360) Batman looks darker (oufit is black) compared to the 360 version (oufit looks more dark blue). The game even flows better during the combat (smoother transition between animation) And all the character models have waaaay better textures on the PS3 than on 360 (slight plastic look) And come on, We get to play as the Joker for extra fun and challenge. Free DLC too! HEAVEN!!! Sorry post is so long, never posted before on net, but LOVED this game so much had to do inform!!!
this games got a real charm to it its weird.
i havent played it for 3 days and stop doing so because ivy was driving me insane, and continuing would of resulted in a broken tv so i quit.
and for some reason im urged to go back and play it.
i would love to see rocksteady do a spiderman game.
they brought this series back to life, imagine what they could do to the web swinger.
spiderman games can be allot of fun when done well, just look at spiderman 2.
So PS3 gets exclusive Batman content of playing as the legendary foe the Joker and then a follow up dis to the xbox in america with even more exclusive content for the PS3…
xbox can keep the ballad of bill gates
Batman AA is a great game no doubt.
But everyone is seriously overrating it.
Yes it is undoubtedly the best superhero game EVA EVA EVER!
But…….the reason is that it is the FIRST Batman game where you ACTUALLY DO what Batman CAN do.
Using all the gadgets and sneaking around, the past Batman games are all pure beat 'em up game.
You see…..Batman AA is the very first superhero game where you actually use 100% of the hero(if you know what I mean…..)
I wanna play as Harley Quinn please!
only on PlayStaion 3!
