We went without the rumored Lair demo in June, but Factor 5 isn't about to ignore everyone who is closely following their upcoming title. If the latest information is accurate, the developers have not only suggested we'll see that demo in July, but we also have a release date. Finally!

According to Gaming Today, Lair is scheduled to release for the PS3 on August 14, which is most certainly not a long way off. The previews, trailers, and early details have all proved promising, now all they have to do is finish with a bang, right? We get dragons, big battles, and sweet in-air encounters, so any game with that kind of content can't possibly be bad; heck, it might even be amazing. We can't wait to check it out.

And if we're really lucky, that demo will hit next month, and it will be playable. That's exactly the kind of thing that will get everyone's attention, especially if the demo is long enough and of a high enough quality to create a good word-of-mouth. We'll let you know when Factor 5 and Sony comes clean about that demo, and when exactly you will see it on the PlayStation Store. In the meantime, mark you calendars: August 14 should be a good day for PS3 owners.
