Ben-DutkaIt's inevitable that we'll eventually get Uncharted 4 from Naughty Dog. And we already got Golden Abyss for the PlayStation Vita.
So this new listing of a game called "Uncharted: Fight for Fortune" comes as a bit of a surprise. According to Player Attack , the Australian Classification Board has leaked the title, which may be a product for mobile platforms.
Firstly, it says it's "multiplatform," which could mean PS3 and Vita ( Golden Abyss had the same tag). But would they really release a new Uncharted for Vita so soon after this year's title? Perhaps it's more likely that the "multiple platforms" exist in the mobile market. That seems all the more possible because the developer is One Loop Games, which has been working on various mobile titles including adaptations of the God of War , Ratchet & Clank and James Bond franchises. Lastly, there's the "G" rating, which is the equivalent of "E"-Everyone for us…sounding more bite-size by the minute, isn't it?
Well, I suppose it makes perfect sense. Why in God's name I would ever play an Uncharted on a phone or a tablet, I have no idea. But then again, I have no idea why people do a lot of things, so I'm probably not the best judge. I definitely accept that.
Ugh, I hate it when the slap Franchises I love on mobile devices. If I follow a series of games that start on a console, I expect them to stay on a console. I feel the same way when they release novella's or comic books based on games, telling us events which take place outside the game's story, even though they shouldn't be.
Hopefully this will be one of them mobile games we can ignore and move on. I'm certainly not buying a tablet to continue the Uncharted series.
Just hope if it's the real game, it doesn't find its way to Xbox.
According to IGN it's a PSVita game. " Uncharted: Fight for Fortune has also received classification in Brazil, where it was classed as a "casino/card game" and listed for the PlayStation Vita."
I wonder if this is a new Vita game like GA but also has a casino/card mini game included as part of the story? I hope it's a new full fledge Uncharted for Vita! We all know Uncharted 4 will be the next PS4 game.

Ugh, This is terrible. I'm already pissed about Golden Abyss ring on the Vita which is a legitimate piece of gaming hardware. This is my favorite franchise, now I'm starting to get frustrated by the fact that it's being whored out!
Uncharted belongs on the PS console! Keep it that way before it gets ruined! *IF* this is a mobile iteration and it dont do well, there's potential it could affect the franchise! Leave it to ND please, they created it in the first place!
I'm hoping it's nothing more than a Vita game at least! I can at least live with that.

Could be for mobile. Sony just released the PS store app for Playstation Certified devices. There's about 20 or so small games you can get from it with your PSN account. I got Super Crate Box for my Xperia Play. It could be that Sony wants to strengthen their foothold in the mobile market with well-known first-party titles. I'd welcome some higher-quality games for my phone. I mostly use the gamepad for SNES emulators.
