Does the team intend to produce another game for PlayStation 4 before the generation is over? Another two games…? Well, yes, so says community strategist Arne Meyer.
In a new Finder interview , Meyer said the studio has "at least one more" game in the works for this generation of game consoles:
"I would hope we would release a game pretty soon. Our development cycles aren't too long, and I have no idea how long this console generation really is going to last, but, yeah, there's no doubt it should be in this console generation for sure."
As there are some concerns about the length of this era of consoles (what with Nintendo releasing their successor to the Wii U in the middle of it), Meyer admitted he doesn't "know what the timelines are." But he added that Naughty Dog's development cycles aren't too long and if they release a game late in the generation, it can still do well.
Now, we're all fairly certain The Last Of Us 2 is one of the games Meyer is referencing. That seems obvious. But if they do another, what might it be? Oh, I know: A Jak and Daxter reunion! 😉

The Last of Us 2 and Uncharted Racing oh before u thumb me down look up the facts about naughty dogs games the last game in the series is always a racing game. Exsamples Crash Team Racing, Jak X: Combat Racing. So ya its time for Uncharted Racing
Yes, that joke is well known, but died with the new generation.
I would love a Jak and Daxter game. It is time for the system to get more cartoony games. We don't really have many AAA cartoon platformers.
Hopefully the Ratchet and Clank remake will push ND to make another Jak game.
How about a whole new IP? It wouldn't be easy, but I bet ND could pull it off. With Silent Hill going the way of the Dodo bird maybe this would a good opening for a survival horror.

I wasn't thinking they weren't making more games after Uncharted 4. Seeing that ND doesn't know anymore than we do when this gen will end, this article could be titled "Naughty Dog Will Continue to Make and Release Games as They Happen"
