Sony won't officially confirm it and Naughty Dog hasn't, either, but a follow-up effort to the award-winning PlayStation 3 exclusive The Last Of Us is almost guaranteed.
The question is, when do you think Naughty Dog will officially unveil it? Well, as this is a studio that tends to throw its full weight behind a major project, I expect you won't hear anything this year. Uncharted 4: A Thief's End is taking up all their time right now, I'm sure. But as Drake's next – and last – adventure is coming on April 22, 2016 , it's feasible that TLoU2 (or whatever they're going to call it) might finally come to light in the spring.
Whether it's a sequel or prequel, nobody seems to have any idea. Like I said, we haven't heard much (besides a mention of the sequel on a LinkedIn profile ), so there's plenty of guessing going on right now. I'm wondering if the fans want to see a prequel; you know, where we explore how everything went to sh** before Joel and Ellie's memorable adventure. What do you say?

A friend has told me that ND are the masters of 2nd parts (Crash 2, Jak and Dexter 2, Uncharted 2) so I hope it will happen and the game will be even better then 1st one:)
