So, this is interesting:
According to Battlefield: Hardline statistics (as tracked by the P-Stats Network and cited by PS4Daily ), the game has proven to be far more popular on Sony's new console as opposed to Xbox One.
Currently, there are over 4 times as many active players on PS4 when compared to Microsoft's latest console; it's about 800,000 to less than 200,000. There are even more active PS4 players than PC players, which is a little surprising, given the fact that Battlefield is typically a big draw on PC. The graph makes it plain: For whatever reason(s), Battlefield: Hardline is doing far better with the PlayStation brand.
But why? Anybody have any ideas? As far as I know, the PS4 version wasn't technically superior, was it? Are all the Xboxers just playing Call of Duty because it's basically all they play, anyway? 😉 Yes, j/k.
