So, this is interesting:
According to Battlefield: Hardline statistics (as tracked by the P-Stats Network and cited by PS4Daily ), the game has proven to be far more popular on Sony's new console as opposed to Xbox One.
Currently, there are over 4 times as many active players on PS4 when compared to Microsoft's latest console; it's about 800,000 to less than 200,000. There are even more active PS4 players than PC players, which is a little surprising, given the fact that Battlefield is typically a big draw on PC. The graph makes it plain: For whatever reason(s), Battlefield: Hardline is doing far better with the PlayStation brand.
But why? Anybody have any ideas? As far as I know, the PS4 version wasn't technically superior, was it? Are all the Xboxers just playing Call of Duty because it's basically all they play, anyway? 😉 Yes, j/k.

Well Socom players are all over this game including me 🙂
Oh gawd, I miss Socom 2, it's the first multiplayer game I played on my ps2…
Ben PS4 is a good deal superior last I knew Hardline was 720p 60FPS on X1 and 900P 60FPS on PS4.
But doubt that has much to do with it.
4 times as many ps4s out there?…..
Sony doesn't have that big of a lead.
But on that topic when was the last time we have heard a number for the X1? Last report from Microsoft I heard was the one at the close of December saying they had "shipped" a little over 10 million units while Sony recently reported they had sold to consumers almost 21 million.
That was my thought….the hard sale numbers are starting to reveal the disparity between the two systems, especially in AAA games. I wouldn't be surprised if BLOPS III also shows a shift.
yeah i thought this was interesting i guess it just means that the ps4 and hardline are the popular ones atm
happy gaming
We'll we see a steep dip in active players on Hardline, when Rainbow Six:Siege releases?
I love the game. It is the best Battlefield game by far. I am on my 3rd play through. The stealth is so addicting.
