Deep Silver has released the first gameplay trailer for Dead Island 2 and perhaps unsurprisingly, it's basically a zombie bloodbath.
It's only a minute long but it gives us a peek at the game's weapons, combat mechanic, and the environment in which we'll be slaying legions of the undead.
The video is appropriately entitled "Sunshine and Slaughter" and builds on the initial announcement trailer that debuted at E3 back in June. The sequel has a ton of promise and provided developer Techland irons out a few of the lingering kinks in the series, we'll be more than happy to give Dead Island 2 our hearty recommendation. In the past, in my mind, it has been "close but not quite…"
Maybe this is a finally the AAA winner we've all been waiting for…

I liked the first two dead Islands even though the first one had few glitches during my playthtough… Still i cant wait to play this one too
They embraced the humor and fun aspect and are avoiding trying to be serious like the first game. Good.
i haven't gotten a change to play the original maybe they should do a remaster of the original dead island for Ps4/XBox1 is remastering of old games seem to b the it thing to do.

WHOLE point of dead island is to have fun ripping zombies limb from limb, to hack and slash sending limbs flying left right and center!
so why would you put a weapon degridation system in making weapons break so easily and cost a freaking fortune to fix, thus making you not want to use them.
they go and create a mechanic that makes you not want to play the game.
