Ubisoft Invites You To Have A Bloody Good Time

How come nobody has ever named a video game "Bloody Good Time," yet? Well, it's about time.

Today, Ubisoft has announced a new IP for the PlayStation Network, Xbox Live Arcade, and Steam (PC), which is slated to release some time this fall. It is indeed called Bloody Good Time , and it "takes a new and irreverent approach to multiplayer shooters." Running on Valve's Source engine, the game puts players on a Hollywood set, where you can choose your own entertainment: a spring-break beach house, a terrifying Vegas hotel, and more await, as you will learn all about the "the merciless world of movie studios" where absolutely anyone can be in a horror film. Up to 8 players can link up to play together in this oddball FPS, and all of you can be as devious and creative as you like in eliminating other competitors. All sorts of crazy weapons exist (aside from guns), and that includes a frying pan and even a remote-controlled rat. To solidify the cornball experience, you can select from a number of totally cliched horror movie characters, like the super annoying jock or the ditsy bikini babe.

For more info, you'll be able to visit the official website , which isn't up and running just yet.
