Despite THQ's bankruptcy , work moves ahead as planned on current projects.
We know about a few of them – for example, Saints Row 4 is probably inevitable – but more unannounced projects have recently come to light , many of which sound awfully promising. Be optimistic!
Relic Entertainment is working on Company of Heroes 2 , which is slated to arrive some time next year, and they're also preparing a new project entitled "Atlas," which has a tentative 2014 release date. The team that gave you Left 4 Dead and Counter-Strike Source , Turtle Rock Studios, is working on a co-op multiplayer game called "Evolve," which should entice a great many gamers, and THQ Montreal is creating a title called "1666." No clues about that one just yet, but we'll be patient.
As for Vigil Games, maker of Darksiders and Darksiders II , they've got something in the works called "Crawler," which is another new name. Personally, I just want Darksiders III but Vigil has proven themselves to be quite capable, so…
