When it comes to new pieces of hardware, savvy gamers are always on the lookout for deals that will ease the damage done to their wallets.
Well, the PlayStation Vita launches on Tuesday and if you plan to pick it up this week, you might want to visit GameStop. There are no less than 25 launch titles available for the new portable and you're gonna want more than one, right?
The retailer is currently running a buy two get one free deal on select titles for Sony's hot new handheld, and that includes potentially great games like Uncharted: Golden Abyss , ModNation Racers: Road Trip , Wipeout 2048 , Hot Shots Golf: World Invitational , and Little Deviants . You should probably take advantage; there are over 100 Vita games currently in development, so if you don't want to fall behind, you might as well nab a free one. Free stuff = 100% good.
Expect more Vita reviews as the week wears on. We've got more than a few to sort through…
when you say two for one ben it looks like you mean Buy 1 Get 1 free. Just sayin.
Yeah, sorry, it has been fixed.
Well, the only one I really want to play from that way too small list, would be Uncharted.
But since I do need all of them for my new upcoming Vita collection too, plus since the whole total for the games would only cost me slightly over $26 each after with this deal, I'll probably try to pick up ModNation Racers & Little Deviants too.
I just wish Escape Plan was on the list, but since that's a digital D/L……
BTW, the one big bummer to me is that(according to my GS manager who's checked out every Vita game out so far), there aren't any psychical manuals for any of the Vita games so far.
Yup, you are correct on that. No physical manuals at all. It is all digital. When you go to the game screen menu it gives you the option of looking at the menu from there. It's not bad actually but I seriously would have wanted and actual booklet or something not an empty box.
target has the exact same deal going.
Exactly but target has it for all games.
Thanks guys,
I just checked Target B2, G1 games deal, and besides Uncharted, the only other one's there I would actually want to play would be(and only if they're not D/L game, & that they're out now)is Unit 13 & maybe Gravity Rush(I'd have to see more on GR first though)
sigh.
why is it always the states who gets the deals?
figures, the ones who have the best prices in the first place are the ones who get heavy discounts!
while us chumps are stuck paying 70 bucks a pop!
i never thought i would be paying 70 bucks for a bloody handheld title!
Remember when stuff used to be "buy one, get one free"?
It's a sign of the times guess…
I can still remember when GS did a few(but rare), "Buy 1-get 2 Free" deals"
BTW, Amazon is now doing the "Buy 2 -Get 1 Free" deals too, and with at least 3 times the amount of games being offered than GameStop is doing….

beside golden abyss, escape plan has kept me busy.
