As far as many JRPG fans are concerned, Ni No Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch is one of the best games ever made.

Which is why they'll be overjoyed to hear about the sequel…well, provided they own – or plan to own – a PlayStation 4.

During this weekend's PlayStation Experience, Sony announced Ni No Kuni 2: Revenant Kingdom , which is coming exclusively to PlayStation 4. The game focuses on Evan, a boy king who must travel through a kingdom engulfed in darkness and prove he's worthy of being a leader. Unsurprisingly, Evan meets a number of characters on his travels, including Roland, "a visitor from another world." The debut trailer is below and yeah, it's gorgeous.

The last title was developed by Level-5 with help from Studio Ghibli, and is widely recognized as one of the most visually accomplished games of the past generation. Expect nothing less from the sequel.
