Gamers of all skill levels should be able to enjoy Bungie's open-world shooter, Destiny .
During a recent Game Informer interview with Bungie designer Tyson Green, we find out that Destiny will suit everyone from the casual to the avid hardcore:
"We're building lots of encounters, and even activities, where it's not immediately obvious what you should do. And in fact, you're going to fail. Oh my god, you're actually going to play a AAA video game and fail a lot. When we say that we're building something for every mood, we really mean it."
Green added that the campaign will be more accessible and it's a good way of easing into the game. If you're already a FPS veteran and only multiplayer really appeals to you, you probably don't have to bone up with the campaign. Also, don't forget that Bungie was recently quoted as saying that Destiny 's competitive multiplayer will be "faster and more lethal" than what we saw in the Halo games.
Destiny is slated to launch for the PS4, Xbox One, PS3 and Xbox 360 on September 9, 2014. A beta test that is exclusive to Sony platforms will kick off during the summer.
