Man, I never thought I'd see the day when we could pre-order next-gen games through our current-gen consoles.
But time moves fast. Sony has announced that digital PlayStation 4 games are now available to pre-order through the PSN on the PS3. You can also pre-order via the Sony Entertainment Network (SEN) Store.
Not all digital titles are available immediately for pre-order; the first are Knack and Warframe . The former will cost you the standard $60, but the multiplayer shooter from Digital Extremes uses the free-to-play model, so it'll be free to pre-order and download. Only if you wish to keep playing and purchase extra stuff will you have to pay. Remember that Watch Dogs has been delayed , so you can't pre-order that one. At least, not right now.
The PlayStation 4 is set to launch in North America on November 15 and in Europe on November 29.
Is Warframe the space ninjas one?
Yeah, and from what I have played on the PC it uses a pretty good F2P model. I never felt like I needed to pay anything. I will admit that I didn't get really into it, and there was one thing about the skills that you have to purchase with money which seemed lame. However its a co op game so I don't know how essential getting those skills unlocked are to the game.
Its definitely fun to jump into with some friends though and slash some stuff up. The gameplay is so good, I think some of the guys who worked on Dark Sector worked on this.
wait. what? Space Ninjas? Sweet
sounds better than coding in assembly language =p
Yeah Temjin, check it out on steam, its called Warframe. Its pretty decent to be honest.
Nice picture. Knack wrecking havoc. Hehe.
I mean wreaking havoc.
The PS4 commercials are not bad, especially the one with the two guys singing. lol. Now it would have been funnier if they had Kevin Butler doing that as a musical. lol
Keep playing!
